

Capezzana Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Capezzana is a generational family estate located in Carmignano Tuscany, nestled between Florence and Prato. Dating back to 804 pre-roman times where the vineyard and orchard was already destined to produce olive oil and wine. With 140 hectares and 30,000 olive trees, their Extra Virgin Olive Oil remains niche and artisanal, only releasing a single vintage each year. Hand harvested in mid November 2022 olives are pressed within 24 hrs at their on-site frantoio. All olives are cold pressed without chemicals or heat and from the first press.
Capezzana is Certified Organic and only uses olives harvested from their groves. A blend of Moraiolo, Frantoio, Pendolino and Leccino olives. It has a brilliant green color, fruity aroma, herbaceous and hints of artichoke. On the palette, luscious and dense, with a long finish and gentle peppery notes. A gorgeously elegant and harmonious Olive Oil. The vibrant color and freshness comes from state of the art closed tank equipment which is carried oxygen free to reduce oxidation and preserve aroma.
